Hinzel is the layer where AI agents and your team's tools work together. Teams mention @hinzel in Slack, GitHub, Jira and Zendesk and say what they want in plain words. A deterministic engine checks every call against the team's rules, asks a person before anything sensitive, and keeps a trail from the first message to the final reply.
Named for the Heinzelmännchen, the helpers of Cologne legend who finished the town's work overnight. Hinzel keeps their quiet competence and drops the secrecy: agents ask before they act, and every step is on record.
Hinzel is built by Optimus Foundry Inc., a Canadian corporation based in Ottawa, Ontario.
Logo and icon
A pointed cap with a lantern at its tip: the helper, and the light it works by.
The helper
Under the cap lives the helper: two dot eyes, Ember blush and a small smile. It shows what an agent is doing, one state for each step of a run.
Loaders
Each loader has one job. The lantern is always the part that moves or lights.
